Ictiofauna acompanhante associada a pesca do camarão-da-amazônia Macrobrachium amazonicum (Heller, 1862) (Decapoda, Palaeomonidae): subsídios para gestão ambiental e ordenamento da pesca

Abstract: As comunidades tradicionais do Baixo Amazonas no Pará possuem diversas atividades pesqueiras que geram emprego e renda para os pescadores. Uma dessas é a pesca do camarão-da-amazônia Macrobrachium amazonicum praticada às margens do rio Amazonas, próximo à cidade de Santarém (PA). Despite receiving the same name, the fishing tackle known as "matapi" (Imbiriba et al, 2020) used in prawn fishing near the city of Santarém, PA, differs from that described and used in other regions of the Amazon basin (Sousa et al, 2014).
