The incorporation of mobile technology is necessary for physics teachers to improve students’ learning experience. Therefore, this research aimed to develop and analyze mobile learning based on Augmented Reality for physics education in Senior High School. The research employed a mixed-methods approach, which consisted of two stages. First, the use of the research and development (R&D) employing the Instructional Design Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ID ADDIE) Model’s, which comprised a series of steps for analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The second stage is using empirical analysis with limited classes. The validity of the learning device was assessed using an instrument that included aspects of planning, pedagogy, content, and technique. The results of the validation indicated high scores, with an average of 0.91 for planning, 0.94 for pedagogy, 0.96 for content, and 0.90 for technique, thus confirming the validity and reliability of the mobile learning approach for physics education. The empirical analysis conducted revealed a high level of reliability, with an alpha value of 0.82, which resulted in the determination that the mobile learning approach was valid and reliable for physics education. The second stage of the research was the experimental method. Two classes were randomly selected among six classes of student’s grade XI of SMA Pekanbaru, A class was designed as the experimental group, while another served as the control group which both groups consisted of 34 students which was selected based on homogeneity and normality test results. The results of the experiment indicated that multimedia mobile learning based on Augmented Reality can have a positive impact on students’ achievement in physics.

Digital ecosystems are a set of interconnected elements that enable an integrated and seamless digital experience. In education, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has great potential to improve teaching and learning. However, for the expectations placed on the educational use of AI to be met, it is necessary to develop adequate digital ecosystems that allow its effective implementation. Therefore, it is of great importance to deepen the understanding of these ecosystems and their key elements for such implementation. For this purpose, a systematic review of the literature on this subject was conducted, which included the analysis of 76 articles published in peer-reviewed journals. The main results of the review highlight the current focus of research in that matter, which relates digital ecosystems and artificial intelligence around the personalization of learning. Also, some aspects related to this relationship are analyzed from four categories: networks, applications, services, and users.

Training Engineering Students for Modern Technological Advancement

The study aimed to map the critical success factors for the adoption of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in the educational process of educational institutions. Problems related to the adoption of ICT in the educational system stem from the need to adapt to the use of new technologies in the internal processes of institutions and in teaching and learning processes, common to different profiles of educational institutions including of engineering courses with them specificities. To meet the objective, a review of the existing bibliography in the Scopus database was carried out to highlight articles relevant to the topic. Based on the review, 31 articles identified the main factors and effects that influence and impact the process of implementation and continued use of ICTs. The survey generated a broader view of the challenges faced in different dimensions, from SWOT framework, involving different stakeholders. It is suggested in future studies to engineering analyze deeper the complex scenario that involves the theme.
