Abstract: Junge Generationen wachsen heute in einer durch und durch mediatisierten Welt auf, die besondere Ansprüche an ihr Medienhandeln stellt. Viele der Kompetenzen für die Nutzung von Medientechnologien erlernen Kinder und Jugendliche jedoch nicht automatisch durch den reinen Umgang mit ihnen.
