ICD-11 vs. ICD-10 – a review of updates and novelties introduced in the latest version of the WHO International Classification of Diseases

Abstract: W czerwcu 2018 Światowa Organizacja Zdrowia (WHO) opublikowała 11-tą edycję Międzynarodowej Klasyfikacji Chorób (ICD-11). W nowej edycji klasyfikacji wprowadzono liczne zmiany. Jedną z najważniejszych było przebudowanie systemu kodowania oraz przystosowanie go do wyłącznie cyfrowego użytku. Przebudowa systemu kodowania umożliwia także pełniejsze oddanie za pomocą kodu alfanumerycznego nawet bardzo złożonej sytuacji klinicznej – przyczyniło się do tego wprowadzenie kodowania zgrupowanego.
