Wolbachiamodulates Chikungunya replication inAedes albopictus

Abstract: The Aedes albopictus mosquito has been involved as the principal vector of recent major outbreaks due to the chikungunya virus (CHIKV). The species is naturally infected by two strains of Wolbachia (wAlbA and wAlbB).
