The Double Wedge Beamshifter

Abstract: Two identical glass wedges are combined in this device (see Fig. 89). In Position #1 the two wedges are in contact and form the equivalent of a plane parallel plate of glass. Thus, the laser beam passes through without displacement and appears on the screen at A.
