“…Folio #10950, a parchment leaf of an ancient kūfī Qurʾān (dimensions 14.5 × 20 cm, text area 9 × 14.5 cm, covering Q 40:25–26), has been exposed to humidity and part of its margin is destroyed (Hakim 2010:536; see Figure 1). A sister fragment of this leaf is kept in the Khalili Collection, London, whose writing style has been identified by Déroche (1992:70) as D.1 according to his paleographical classification of early Qurʾānic scripts (see also Déroche 1983, 2014).…”
