Current approaches to plagiarism detection often focus on finding lexical matches rather than semantic similarities in the text content that is compared. But the more important unanswered questions remain whether similar concepts expressed in related topical contexts are semantically equivalent as idea-laundering plagiarism by humans or algorithm-generated plagiarism by machines. Now publicly available and easily accessible, text-generating algorithms have automated the process of assembling a text derived from but not attributed to published content scraped from the web. The FAIR Metrics, with FAIR an acronym for Fair Attribution to Indexed Reports and Fair Acknowledgment of Information Records, measure how appropriately a document cites prior records based on whether they contain similar claims that are equivalent in meaning. We demonstrate herein a workflow with results for manual evaluation of the FAIR Metrics to quantify the extent of plagiarism in 8 articles retracted or reported for plagiarism. We also demonstrate use of the Nexus-PORTAL-DOORS-Scribe (NPDS) Cyberinfrastructure to manage semantic descriptions of the concept mappings and entity equivalence evaluations made using concepts and relationships from the PDP-DREAM Ontology.

Thin layer drying of mint was evaluated using a solar dryer at the university of Biskra. The experimental moisture ratios of the samples were fitted to eight drying models. The drying experiments were carried out on the mint with effect the mass flow rate, which varies from 0.018 to 0.034 kg.s -1 . In this part of the study, we cut the mint to virtual median little pieces. The mathematical models were tested with the drying behavior of mint in the laboratory solar dryer. The coefficients of the models were determined by the multiple regression method in the solar dryer to find out the most suitable moisture ratio model. We conclude that the mass flow rate influence onto the coefficients of correlation it's meaning the mass flow it is an important factor. The our model was found as the best model based on statistical parameters of R², RMSE and χ². The model is applicable to predict the moisture content of mint during solar drying of mint.

The impacts of vacuum drying (VD), far-infrared drying (FIRD), hot air drying (HAD), and freeze drying (FD), as representative food drying methods, on structural characterization, bioactive substances, and antityrosinase activity of Asparagus have been assessed. The microstructure characterization by scanning electron microscopy indicated that VD treatment led to serious breaking of the vascular bundle and epithelial cells and provided higher free polyphenol (FP) and bound polyphenol (BP) contents. Besides, the smaller individual molecule (weight and hydroxy and phenolic rings) polyphenols bound to cellulose to a lesser extent than larger molecules, i.e., rutin and quercetin. In contrast, FD extracts possessed lower polyphenol contents but higher saponin and chlorophyll contents. The antityrosinase activity inhibition rates of FD and VD extracts were higher than those of FIRD and HAD for both mono-and diphenolase. The FP extract of VD, which possessed more polyphenolic compounds, had greater antityrosinase activity than BP.
