Abstract:PURPOSE Medullary thyroid cancer (MTC) is a rare cancer originating from parafollicular C cells of the thyroid gland. Therapeutically relevant alterations in MTC are predominantly reported in RET oncogene, and lower-frequency alterations are reported in KRAS and BRAF.
