Phoenix dactylifera leaf extract protects from paracitamol‐induced oxidative stress in rats

Abstract: ObjectivesTo determine the effects of leaf extract of Phoenix dactylifera against the oxidative stress response induced by a wide‐spectrum analgesic paracetamol in rats.MethodsAdult Sprague dawley rats were treated with or without paracetamol (1500mg/kg) and leaf extract of Phoenix dactylifera (300mg/kg).
