Abstract: A description is provided for Pestalotiopsis funerea. Information is included on the disease caused by the organism, its transmission, geographical distribution, and hosts. HOSTS: On Coniferae, including Araucaria, Cedrus, Chamaecyparis, Cryptomeria, Cupressocyparis, Cupressus, Dacrydium, Ginkgo, Juniperus, Libocedrus, Pinus, Pseudotsuga and Thuja.
