Abstract:In this study, the protective effects of Panax notoginseng saponins (PNS) against gamma radiation‐induced DNA damage and associated physiological alterations in Swiss albino mice were investigated. Exposure to gamma radiation led to a dose‐dependent increase in cytokinesis‐blocked micronuclei (CBMN) double‐strand DNA breaks (DSBs), dicentric aberrations (DC), formation in peripheral blood mononuclear cells.
