Abstract

In the title compound [Ag(C20H20N2)(C18H15P)2]NO3·1.36NCCH3·1.64CH3OH. 0.53H3CH2COCH2CH3, the AgN2P2 coordination polyhedron can be described as a distorted tetrahedron. The packing of the cations leaves quite large voids in which there are disordered anions and solvent molecules.

Synthesis, characterization and crystal structures of the bidentate Schiff baseN,N′-bis(2-nitrocinnamaldehyde)ethylenediamine and its complex with CuNCS and triphenylphosphane
