Muntingia calabura: A review of its traditional uses, chemical properties, and pharmacological observations

Abstract: Context: Different parts of Muntingia calabura L. (Elaeocarpaceae), or ''kerukup siam'' in Malay, have been reported to possess medicinal value, supported by a number of scientific studies.
