Abstract: Morinda longissima Y. Z. Ruan (“Nhó đông") belongs to the Rubiaceae family. In Vietnam, the stems and roots of this plant are commonly used to treat liver diseases, such as viral hepatitis and acute and chronic cirrhosis.
