H Filtering for two-dimensional discrete switched systems in the second Fornasini and Marchesini model

Abstract: This paper is concerned with the H∞ filtering problem for two-dimensional (2-D) discrete switched systems described by the second Fornasini and Marchesini (FM) model. The main purpose is to design a switched filter such that the resulting filtering error system under the arbitrary switching signal is asymptotically stable with a guaranteed H∞ performance level. By using the switched Lyapunov functions, a new sufficient condition is obtained to guarantee the asymptotic stability with a H∞ performance index for … Show more

“…The H filtering approach can handle state estimation problems without the previous assumptions (Wang and Xu, 2015). Recently, many scholars have extensively studied H filtering problem for various systems (Badie et al, 2020; Gu et al, 2022; Qi et al, 2021). Gu et al (2022) investigated the resilient H filtering problem of Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy-model-based nonlinear networked systems with multi-sensors, where authors also considered the DoS attacks in the communication network.…”

“…In Reference 31, the H ∞ filtering problem for discrete 2‐D switched systems represented by the second FM model under the arbitrary and restricted switching signals has been studied. Recently, in Reference 32, the full‐order and reduced‐order H ∞ filtering problems for 2‐D discrete switched systems described by the second FM model have been solved.…”
