“I don’t Know what I Would do Without it” How Life Science Graduate Students Describe Resource Value

Abstract: Utilizing expectancy-value theory for help sources, this national, qualitative study explored life science graduate students’ choice of their highest-value resources, their explanations about why they chose those resources, and how students’ perceptions of value differed among resources and across demographic characteristics.
