Abstract: Mushrooms of the genus Cantharellus sp. belong to Basidiomycota, class: Agaricomycetes; order: Cantharellales; family: Cantharellaceae. Cantharellus cibarius (C. cibarius, known as chanterelle) is a fungus known for its characteristic strong earthy flavor.
