Abstract: In this study, we aimed to explore the protective effects of Bifidobacterium in colitis mice and the potential mechanisms. Results showed that Bifidobacterium breve (B. breve) effectively colonized the intestinal tract and alleviated colitis symptoms by reducing the disease activity index.
