Ascaridia Galli Infection in Laying Hens and the Results of in Vitro Efficacy of Levamisole, Piperazine and Carvacrol, Whether is Necessary to Change the Deworming Protocols?

Abstract: We present a case of Ascaridia galli infection in laying hens on a farm in central Serbia. During the rearing period on litter, ascaridosis was diagnosed at 15 weeks of age by routine parasitological fecal examination. Pullets were treated with flubendazole for one week, and two weeks later the hens were moved to battery cages.
