Abstract: A single adult female of Alebion crassus was recovered from the skin of the sand tiger shark, Eugomphodus taurus, captured in the Minas Basin region of the upper Bay of Fundy. Alebion crassus has not been previously reported from this host or locality. The present find is a northern range extension record for both the host and parasite.
