Aeromonas salmonicidaurinary tract infection in a newly diagnosed AIDS patient on antitubercular treatment

Abstract: Aeromonas salmonicida is a well-known pathogen in salmonid fishes. It was believed to be non-pathogenic to humans because of inability to grow at 37°C. Here we present a case of a woman in her 20s who was diagnosed with abdominal tuberculosis 6 months previously but had not been compliant with the treatment.
