Hypopituitarism after Orthohantavirus Infection: What is Currently Known?

Abstract: Several case reports have described hypopituitarism following orthohantavirus infection, mostly following Puumala virus. The pathogenesis of this seemingly rare complication of orthohantavirus infection remains unknown.
