IntroductionFor patients with early-stage breast cancer, breastconserving surgery followed by conventional fractionated radiotherapy of the breast region is a standard therapeutic p r o c e d u r e . H o w e v e r, c o n v e n t i o n a l f r a c t i o n a t e d radiotherapy is normally delivered for 6-7 weeks, which is not convenient. To address this problem, we cautiously evaluated the use of hypofractionated radiotherapy (HF), which has a shortened course of treatment.
