Hypochlorite injury to the lip following injection via a labial perforation. Case report

Abstract: This report documents ulceration of the oral aspect of the lip, with facial swelling, following injection of Milton's solution into the lip through a labial perforation of tooth 13. After palliative therapy the ulceration healed within six weeks, and paraesthesia within three months.
