Hypoalbuminemia in COVID‐19: assessing the hypothesis for underlying pulmonary capillary leakage

Abstract: Background. Since the first observations of patients with COVID-19, significant hypoalbuminaemia was detected. Its causes have not been investigated yet.Objective.
