Hypervitaminosis D

Abstract: A case of vitamin D intoxication with resultant hypercalcemia is described. Sodium sulfate by mouth proved to be effective in decreasing the concentration of calcium in serum and improving clinical conditions. The action of sodium sulfate on calcium metabolism and its therapeutic possibilities are discussed.
