Hyperspectral Image Recovery via Reliability-Weighted Compressed Sensing for Hardware Trojan Detection

Abstract: Hyperspectral imaging is a popular style of image acquisition which captures a multitude of two-dimensional images at different frequencies to yield more information from a scene. For imaging in certain frequency ranges, point-scanning images pixel-by-pixel is the only option for imaging and consequently can require prohibitively long measurement times. This paper introduces a non-uniform compressed sensing strategy for recovering whole hyperspectral images with much fewer samples than normally required. Our m… Show more

“…The work considered the data obtained from the initial stage to compress the other frames efficiently. A related work 25 came up with a reliability theory-inspired non-uniform compressed sensing approach to recover the original information from a limited number of observations. The dimensionality reduction techniques identify the correlated features and transform the data in a data-driven manner.…”

“…In [128], the authors introduce an innovative strategy for efficiently reconstructing hyperspectral images with fewer measurements, focusing on reliability-weighted sampling. This method is applied to detect hidden hardware Trojans in integrated circuits, achieving superior performance with significantly fewer measurements than previous methods.…”

“…Hyperspectral imaging is a technique for acquiring images in continuous narrow bands, which can be used to analyze the 'spectral fingerprint' and spatial distribution of large-scale detection objects [1,2]. It is widely used in satellite remote sensing [3], biomedical imaging [4,5], water contamination analysis [6] and other fields [7,8]. Its characteristic of high spectral resolution is not available in other types of photoelectric imaging [1-3, 9, 10].…”
