A further study in Sweden confirmed the association of hyperprolactinemia in several patients with Ménière disease, and one had a pituitary adenoma (30). The data are particularly intriguing because hyperprolactinemia has never before been described in this pathology; furthermore, clinical diagnostic schema for hyperprolactinemia do not include any otological pathological features (6).…”
