Hyperemesis gravidarum in northern Israel: a retrospective epidemiological study

Abstract: BackgroundHyperemesis gravidarum (HG) is characterized by severe intractable nausea and vomiting in pregnancy leading to electrolyte imbalance, ketonuria, and weight loss. The cause is unknown.
