Crystal structures of the heavier main group elements in low oxidation states have been evaluated for the presence of supramolecular element(lp)⋯π(arene) interactions that are structure-directing. It is revealed that when present, these interactions lead to zerodimensional, binuclear aggregates but higher-nuclearity species are sometimes observed, with one-dimensional supramolecular chains of varying topology being prominent. By contrast, two-dimensional aggregation based on element(lp)⋯π(arene) interactions are rare. В последние годы халькогенорганические соединения привлекли внимание многих исследовательских групп благодаря своей высокой химической и биологической активности. Винилселениды и теллуриды доказали свою эффективность в качестве удобных инструментов в различных реакциях органического синтеза. Следует отметить, что этот важный класс соединений, как было показано, обладает ценными биологическими свойствами, что делает их перспективными кандидатами для получения на их основе лекарственных средств. В настоящем обзоре представлено всестороннее и обновленное рассмотрение современных доступных методов получения винилселенидов и винилтеллуридов, разработанных за последние семь лет. По результатам критического анализа более чем 130 работ их содержание представлено в трех основных разделах, в которых особое внимание уделяется синтезу этого ценного класса соединений как без использования катализа металлами, так и с его использованием. <br> Библиография — 139 ссылок.
