Abstract: Direct synthesis of thermodynamically less favorable (Z)-vinyl sulfones presents a notable challenge in organic synthesis. In addition, the development of a stereodivergent synthesis for (E)-and (Z)-vinyl sulfones is crucial but remains elusive.
