Abstract:Hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) is widely used for glycopeptide enrichment in shot-gun glycoproteomics to enhance the glycopeptide signal and minimize the ionization competition of peptides. In this work, we have developed a novel hydrophilic material (glycoHILIC) based on glycopeptides and peptides to provide hydrophilic properties. GlycoHILIC was synthesized by oxidizing cotton and then reacting the resulting aldehyde with the N-terminus of the glycopeptide or peptide by reductive amina… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
