Hydrophilic modification of polyvinyl chloride with polyacrylic acid using ATRP

Abstract: Amphiphilic copolymers were synthesized through a “grafting from” technique using an atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) initiated from the surface of an iodinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-I) membrane and in solution.
