Abstract: The polyamide (PA) active layer plays a key role in the permeation and antifouling properties of thin-film composite (TFC) membranes. In this study, we synthesized a nature-based zwitterionic thin-film nanocomposite (TFN) membrane with improved organic fouling resistance.
