Hydrology of area 21, Eastern Coal province, Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia

Abstract: A nationwide need for hydrologic information characterizing conditions in coal-resources areas was mandated with the enactment of the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (Public Law 95-87). This report is designed to be useful to mine owners and operators,, consulting engineers, and regulatory authorities by presenting information concerning hydrologic conditions and identifying additional sources of hydrologic information.
