Hydrogenation by Metals

Abstract: Hydrogenation of organic compounds with metal catalysts has been reviewed. Classification of hydrogenation reactions with different functional groups, their general characteristics, and applications are discussed. The conventional as well as novel‐structured catalysts with advances in preparation methods are reviewed. This is a brief review for a quick guidance on hydrogenation by metals with relevant references for more details.
