Abstract:In this experiment, a newly synthesized chromogenic agent o-vanillin fluorescence ketone was used to establish a method for the determination of Mn(II) by catalytic kinetic fluorescence. At the maximum excitation and emission wavelengths (λex/λem = 495 nm/578 nm) Mn(II) showed a negative correlation with fluorescence intensity in the range of 0.005 ~ 0.025 µg/mL and a good linear relationship between concentration and ΔF value.
