Hydrodynamic simulation of ultrashort pulse laser ablation of gold film

Abstract: The electron collision frequency in a hydrodynamic model was improved to match the laser energy absorbed with experimental data. The model calculation was used to investigate the ablation depth and the dependence of the threshold fluence of gold film on pulse width and wavelength.
