Hydrodynamic Field of a Wave at Constant Depth

Abstract: We have used chronophotographic methods with aluminum powder to record wave motion. In this method, it is necessary to photograph fine selected and prepared particles which sink slowly but which are nevertheless large enough to reflect light through about half a meter of water in the wave flume.
