Hydrodynamic Analysis of a Multi-Pile-Supported Offshore Wind Turbine Integrated with an Aquaculture Cage

Zhisheng Tu,
Cailiang Zhang,
Hanqiu Liu
et al.

Abstract: The integrated development of offshore wind power and marine aquaculture is becoming increasingly important. However, the impact mechanism of integrating a net cage on the dynamic characteristics of offshore wind turbines remains unclear. This paper presents a design scheme for a multi-pile-supported offshore wind turbine integrated with an aquaculture net cage and conducts a preliminary theoretical analysis of the influence of an additional net cage on the wind turbine. The analysis reveals that the primary e… Show more

“…The foundation types of offshore wind structures have shown a diversified development trend in the efficient development and utilization of offshore wind energy. Several types of offshore foundations have been applied and developed to different extents, such as the mono-pile foundation [2], multi-pile foundation [3], jacket foundation [4] and bucket foundation [5]. The bucket foundation is mainly composed of a bucket inserted into the soil and a transition part above the mudline.…”
