“…The exploration of geothermal resources in the Shandong Province began in 1959. After decades of development, a variety of geothermal water chemical characteristics analysis, environmental isotope tracer application, geophysical exploration measurement, and geothermal system genetic model construction have been carried out in the eastern Shandong region, central Shandong Mountain hills, and northern Shandong plains. By means of geophysical prospecting, geothermal drilling, and productivity testing, Zhang et al found out the geothermal geological characteristics such as thick and buried depth of carbonate thermal reservoirs in northwestern Jinan, and revealed the characteristics of thermal reservoirs, geothermal fields, and hydrochemical changes. Wang et al applied hydrochemistry, isotope, and other forms of analysis to systematically study the thermal storage characteristics of carbonate rocks and groundwater flow in northern Jinan, and gradually and systematically improved their conceptual model of geothermal fields.…”
