Hybridization of mouse lemurs: different patterns under different ecological conditions

Abstract: BackgroundSeveral mechanistic models aim to explain the diversification of the multitude of endemic species on Madagascar. The island's biogeographic history probably offered numerous opportunities for secondary contact and subsequent hybridization.
