This paper presents a new h y brid t y pe of phase shifter that emplo y s basie Schiffman lines. Compared with conventional coupled line and Schiffman line phase shifters the new h y brid design shows advantage of optimall y ver y small phase shift error of (±5°) over an entire band of 2. .
