Hybrid particle swarm optimization algorithm based on entropy theory for solving DAR scheduling problem

Abstract: An efficient task-scheduling algorithm in the Digital Array Radar (DAR) is essential to ensure that it can handle a large number of requested tasks simultaneously. As a solution to this problem, in this paper, we propose an optimization model for scheduling DAR tasks using a hybrid approach. The optimization model considers the internal task structure and the DAR task-scheduling characteristic. The hybrid approach integrates a particle swarm optimization algorithm with a genetic algorithm and a heuristic task-… Show more

“…In the process of retrieval, the evaluation function is usually used to select the features of the web portal information. e commonly used feature evaluation functions mainly include information gain, mutual information, and χ 2 statistics [29]. Among them, χ 2 statistics can express both positive correlations and negative correlations between the web portal information features and feature categories as follows:…”

“…(5) Designing SI and EAs Over the past years, SI and EAs have been successfully used to handle various complex optimization problems [148][149][150][151][152] . According to the analysis and discussion, they have excellent performance in addressing distributed scheduling problems in manufacturing systems, particularly those with complicated constraints and large solution spaces.…”

“…Buglakov A I and others proposed the entropy method to evaluate the complexity of manufacturing enterprises. This method can evaluate the complexity of simple enterprise systems according to objective data, but it is not suitable for evaluating the complexity of enterprise production process, and the evaluation cost is too high [6]. Entropy theory is also used in system engineering and process management.…”
