“…These correlators can be divided according type of object recognition. They can recognize faces or other objects, they can use Hilbert or Fourier Transform, they can be divided to two-dimensional or three-dimensional correlators or they can be used to Medical Analysis, Biometric Recognition, Motion Tracker, Traffic Sign Recognition, High Volume Data Searching and many other applications [4,5,7,8,9]. Using of Optical Correlator is very helpful in applications, where fast process time is necessary [6,7,8].…”

“…In the hybrid optoelectronic joint transform correlator(HOJTC) 1 , recoded image have various noise and distortion, the sensitivity of CCD camera is uneven, some quantification noise are brought in the digital processing, there is channel error in the transmission etc, all of this lead that the contrast of the joint transform power spectrum (JTPS) is obviously weakened, some fringes are displayed very blurred, thus the output correlation peaks are weakened too. Now, we applied high-boost filtering to sharpen the JTPS and improve the contrast of JTPS, so obtained the output correlation peaks can be obviously lighted, at the same time increase the recognition ratio of the joint transform correlator.…”
