Space modular self-reconfigurable satellites (SMSRSs) are a new type of satellite with reconfigurable structures and adjustable functions. The inverse kinematics of the hyper-redundant structure of SMSRSs are difficult to solve by traditional methods. In this paper, the inverse kinematics of SMSRS is transformed into an optimization problem and solved using the optimization method. Moreover, the avoidance of self-collision is implemented in the optimization process. Firstly, the kinematic model of SMSRS is established. Then, to find the more accurate inverse kinematics solutions, a novel Segmented Hybrid CMA-ES and PSO (SHCP) algorithm is proposed. The algorithm is used for three cases of inverse kinematic problems, and the optimization results prove the optimization method is effective to solve the inverse kinematic problem with self-collision avoidance. Compared to the results of PSO variants, meta-heuristic algorithms, and hybrid algorithms, the novel algorithm has higher accuracy, proving its better performance on the inverse kinematics problem of SMSRS.

In this study, a novel hybridization approach, which is called CMASFS and is based on the covariance matrix adaptation evolution strategy (CMA-ES) and the stochastic fractal search (SFS) algorithms. To make the proposed algorithm dynamic, Gaussian walk equations involved in the diffusion process of SFS have been updated and the algorithm decide to use which the Gaussian walk equations. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is tested using CEC2017 benchmark functions having unimodal, multimodal, hybrid, and composition functions in 10, 30, 50, and 100 dimensions. The performance of the CMASFS algorithm is compared with 17 metaheuristic algorithms given in the literature over the CEC2017 benchmark functions. According to the results, it is seen that CMASFS is generally obtained better mean error values. Moreover, to show the superiority of the proposed algorithm, Friedman analysis and the Wilcoxon rank-sum test are applied to the test results of the algorithms. The results of the Wilcoxon signed-rank test show that the improvement with the CMASFS algorithm is statistically significant on the majority of the CEC2017. The results of Friedman test verify that the CMASFS is obtained the best rank compared to both the original SFS and other compared algorithms.

ÖzGerçek parametre optimizasyon problemlerinin çözümü için metasezgisel algoritmalara sıklıkla başvurulmaktadır. Bu algoritmalar, problemlerin çözümüne uygulanmadan önce tasarımcıları tarafından yeterli performans elde edene kadar test edilirler. Tasarımcılar önerdikleri algoritmaları test etmek için literatürde sunulmuş çok sayıda sentetik fonksiyon setleri yer almaktadır. Bunlardan bir tanesi de CEC 2019 yarışmasında yer alan ve "100 basamak problemi" olarak adlandırılmış settir. Gerçek parametre optimizasyonunun çözümü için başvurulan önemli algoritmalardan biri de Diferansiyel Gelişim (DE) algoritmasıdır. Basit yapısı, kolay gerçeklenebilmesi ve elde ettiği başarılı sonuçlar DE'nin yaygın kullanılmasına ve performansının iyileştirilerek yeni varyantların ortaya çıkmasına yol açmıştır. Literatürdeki DE varyantlarının en bilinenlerinin başında JADE algoritması gelmektedir. Bu çalışmada, CEC 2019 yarışmasına ait olan 100 basamak probleminin çözümü JADE algoritması kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar, iki adet metasezgisel ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Bunlar; Diferansiyel Gelişim ve Yapay Arı Kolonisi (ABC) algoritmalarıdır. Üç algoritmanın katıldığı deneylerin adil bir şekilde yapılması için otomatik parametre aracı ile algoritmaların parametreleri yapılandırılmıştır. Ayrıca, deneylere katılan bütün algoritmalar farklı fonksiyon çağrım sayıları (FES) ile çalıştırılarak algoritmaların çalışma davranışları incelenmiştir. Sonuçlar göstermiştir ki, JADE çalıştırıldığı her FES değerinde karşılaştırıldığı algoritmalardan daha iyi sonuçlar elde etmiştir. Ayrıca FES değeri artırıldıkça algoritmanın başarımının iyileştiği görülmüştür.
