Hybrid High-Field Cosine-Theta Accelerator Magnet R&D With Second-Generation HTS

Abstract: Next-generation particle accelerators, such as the proposed Large Hadron Collider (LHC) energy upgrade (highenergy LHC), will require very-high-field (> 20 T) superconducting magnets.
