The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, which started as a health emergency, has become the worst crisis since the post-war period. It is, in fact, a general crisis that is having an enormous impact on people worldwide. Various measures that are taken to block its spread, starting with the closure of economic, social and cultural activities and, in particular, schools and universities, have had a serious impact on students' lives. All of this has contributed to an increase in the level of educational poverty and social inequalities. Moreover, the pandemic and, consequently, home confinement have caused loss of a series of relational and educational opportunities, increasingly augmenting situations of discomfort and widening the social gap.
