Hybrid blind interference alignment in homogeneous cellular networks with limited coherence time

Abstract: The work presented in this paper is inspired by the user grouping approach of topological blind interference alignment (top-BIA), which is a semi-blind IA scheme and the fact that the partially connected networks can be advantageous in terms of degree of freedom (DoF) and sum rate. The hybrid-BIA scheme proposed in the paper uses top-BIA to group users that are randomly distributed in a dense small-cell network and aims to reduce the supersymbol length and overcome the DoF loss of the state-of-the-art hierarch… Show more

“…And IA method and apparatus for an interference-aware resourcesharing scheme for multiple D2D group communications are provided in [8]. According to the requirements of channel state information (CSI), interference alignment algorithms can be divided into IA algorithms based on perfect CSI, IA algorithms based on imperfect CSI [9] [10] [11] [12] and blind interference alignment which does not require CSI [13] [14] [15].…”

“…IA implementation can be categorized into two forms, a signal scale form with structured codes or a signal space form with domains, such as time, 6 frequency, 3 and space 7,8 . IA separates the desired signal and interference by aligning interference signals in a subspace with a lower dimension so the desired signal can be received free of interference.…”
